Operation Baby Rescue

After hours of hiking to a remote mountain village struggling in the grips of poverty, I arrived at a small home where seven children lived. One little girl was named Blanca Olivia. She was weak and frail, barely resembling what a child her age should look like. I soon learned that she was dying of malnutrition, not unlike countless children her age in rural Guatemala.
Her cry was weak and hollow, her eyes pleading unspoken words that could only be expressed through barely audible whimpers. I couldn’t look away—she had stolen my heart.

Today we are launching the release of the Operation Baby Rescue documentary. Visit worldhelp.net/rescue to view the full video. (I can promise you this—it is worth every minute of your time!)
This Christmas, I’d like you to join me on the same journey I took to see Blanca Olivia, the journey to rescue a child who desperately needs our help.
Children like Blanca Olivia are the very reason we operate a Baby Rescue Center through Hope of Life Ministries in Guatemala. More rescues are needed every day, and we need your help to make it happen.
Our goal, by year end, is to raise the funds needed to rescue 100 babies in Guatemala.
At $1,200 per rescue, we hope to generate a total of $120,000 to execute this strategy and provide life-saving care to the most helpless of Guatemala’s citizens.
Here’s where you come in.
We’ve created an online platform that features all the references and tools you’ll need to get started. You have the ability to create your own personalized fundraising page to share the cause with friends and collect donations, follow the nationwide progress toward our goal, watch the full documentary, host an event, or even join us for a trip to Guatemala where you’ll be able to see firsthand how these children are being rescued. You can also find more details about what the cost of a rescue includes, view before and after photos, and read stories of the children whose lives are being saved.
I’ve already created my own campaign page with a personal goal of rescuing three babies. This holiday season I’m asking my family and friends to join me and help me reach this goal.

I encourage you to join forces with your family, small group, or church to help rescue a baby together. This is an amazing way of involving your children in an exciting project that will help focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
Join me today in committing to rescue a child in Guatemala. I am confident that with your help, 100 more precious lives will be rescued and given a second chance for a future full of hope.
Christmas was always meant to change the world, and I can’t help but be reminded that it all started with a child.
