In the dim light of dusk, they appeared out of the African bush. Covered in dust and grime from miles of travel, the shadowy visitors descended upon the town. Thousands made the journey into the town, creating a massive, moving line of bodies that extended into the countryside as far as the eye could see. I wondered if my eyes were playing tricks on me. After hours of hiking to a remote mountain village struggling in the grips of poverty, I arrived at a small home where seven children lived. One little girl was named Blanca Olivia.
